MolPort provides a number of ways to access data on commercially available compounds and their catalog data: the MolPort\u00a0web portal<\/a>, a\u00a0downloadable database<\/a>,\u00a0web services<\/a>\u00a0(API). With web services you can instantly check the latest stock level information for MolPort compounds from your software application, Microsoft Excel, Optibrium\u00a0StarDrop<\/a>,\u00a0PipelinePilot<\/a>\u00a0or\u00a0KNIME<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Starting today,\u00a0MolPort KNIME Nodes<\/a>\u00a0are available from the traditional KNIME install\/update website. This will not only make the knime download process much easier, but will also keep them up-to-date automatically. Just add https:\/\/www.molport.com\/knime\/ to the list of update websites.<\/p>\n

Here is how you do it:<\/h3>\n

Open\u00a0KNIME<\/b>, then click\u00a0Help\u00a0<\/b>menu, select\u00a0Install New Software<\/b>.
\nPaste\u00a0https:\/\/www.molport.com\/knime\/<\/i>\u00a0into the\u00a0Work with<\/b>\u00a0field.
\nPress the\u00a0Add…<\/b>\u00a0button and then save the update resource with a name of your choice. We have used\u00a0MolPort nodes<\/i>\u00a0as an example (see figure below).<\/p>\n

Check the box for\u00a0MolPort KNIME Nodes<\/b><\/a>\u00a0or just use\u00a0Select All<\/b>\u00a0below to install or update the existing version of MolPort Nodes.<\/p>\n

Press\u00a0Next ><\/b>\u00a0or\u00a0Finish\u00a0<\/b>and follow the next installation steps.<\/p>\n

The download size does not exceed 10Mb for the current version, but the installation process usually takes up to 5 min. When the installation is complete, KNIME will prompt you to restart the application.<\/p>\n

After the restart, you can find MolPort Nodes in your local Node Repository.<\/p>\n
