MV Laboratories, Inc. was founded in 1985 to meet a growing need for the high-purity inorganic materials used in analytical spectroscopy techniques such as inductively coupled plasma emission spectroscopy (ICP) and graphite furnace atomic absorption (GFAA), as well as industrial applications that included the purification of scandium and preparation of rare earth and alkaline earth sulfides for infrared activated phosphors.
