We are looking for a Key Account Manager to join our team in Riga and help expand our business on a global scale.



About the position:


You will communicate with scientists from top universities, research institutes and biotech companies and help them change their outdated chemical ordering practices and take advantage of tools that modern e-commerce is offering.



You will:

  • Communicate with existing customers to build customer loyalty;
  • Identify and approach potential customers with the aim of winning new sales;
  • Meet potential clients and represent MolPort in national and international exhibitions;
  • Work closely with MolPort’s marketing, customer loyalty and IT team to create, launch and promote new services to attract more customers and help shape the company’s global strategy;
  • Document and thoroughly understand customer behavior and market opportunities.


Preferred candidate will possess:


  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills with high attention to detail;
  • Keen on creating sales pitches and explaining complex processes in an easy way;
  • Social savvy with persuasive and influencing skills;
  • Proactive, independent and willing to take full ownership and accountability;
  • Experience working with a portfolio of clients is preferred;
  • Experience with chemistry or science related field is a plus;
  • Sales or Marketing-related studies and other languages are a plus.
